Job Description

As an Electrical Engineering Manager , you will lead and oversee the Electrical and Instrumentation department for a range of heavy industrial engineering projects. You will be responsible for managing design processes, ensuring profitability, and fostering strong client relationships-both existing and new. Your leadership will directly impact project success, departmental growth, and client satisfaction. AutoCAD Key Responsibilities:

Project Design Supervision

  • 40% Lead, manage, and mentor the Electrical and Instrumentation team Develop work plans and oversee technical drawings and documentation Improve and implement engineering workflows and procedures Perform on-site fieldwork, including: Assessing plant and site conditions Verifying existing infrastructure Designing electrical systems and equipment layout Create design concepts for equipment installation and structural modifications Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to deliver cost-effective and high-quality solutions Ensure all designs align with intent, standards, and compliance requirements Project Management•10% Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients Lead project scope development and collaborate with clients to define requirements Translate scope into actionable plans for engineering and design teams Solicit and evaluate vendor quotes for engineering services, equipment, and materials Prepare bid packages, lead bid reviews, and support procurement Oversee construction coordination, scheduling, and safety compliance Manage project documentation and ensure proper closeout procedures Electrical Design•40% Serve as the technical authority for all electrical engineering work Guide and review designs created by team members and external contributors Perform and verify engineering calculations Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and industry standards Stamp and seal electrical drawings for the following states:
