Position Overview
The MEP Manager is responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects. This role involves managing the design, installation, and compliance of MEP systems, ensuring that projects meet all specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all MEP-related activities in construction projects.
Develop and review MEP designs and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project managers to ensure project alignment.
Supervise installation and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure all work meets the established standards.
Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create and review technical drawings and plans. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in MEP project management and construction management.
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing design, and electrical engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
