We’re launching a new electrical contracting company—and we’re looking for the right leader to build it from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to lead a start-up backed by the resources, experience, and reputation of an established construction partner: Marolf Environmental. You’ll be the first hire. The person who sets the tone, builds the team, drives sales, and ensures field execution. We’re looking for a leader who’s excited to create structure, build culture, and scale a business quickly with real support behind them.

Key Responsibilities:

Launch and lead a new electrical contracting business in the Tampa region Build and manage the initial team, both field and office Develop pricing, estimating, and execution strategies for electrical projects Oversee project delivery, quality control, and client satisfaction Set up operational systems for safety, field management, and scheduling Drive business development efforts with both internal and external partners Manage financials, reporting, and divisional strategy with support from Marolf leadership Collaborate with construction and fabrication divisions for integrated project delivery

Who You Are:

7+ years of experience in the electrical contracting industry or another services industry, with team leadership experience Strong understanding of project management, job costing, and construction operations Builder mindset—you’ve led or helped scale a division, team, or small company Comfortable creating structure where there isn’t any and leading through ambiguity High standards for safety, communication, and accountability Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to early-stage leadership Driven, detail-oriented, and aligned with our values of humility, hunger, and honesty Why This Role is
