General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President to lead Iron EagleX (IEX), a wholly owned subsidiary of GDIT. This executive-level position is based in Tampa, Florida, and offers a unique opportunity to lead a $140M-$160M business focused on delivering mission-critical capabilities to the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and Intelligence Community customers. The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President/General Manager of GDIT’s ARMA Sector and serve as a key contributor to the strategic growth and operational execution of the sector. Job Duties Include (but not limited to): Lead IEX operations with full Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability, ensuring efficient delivery, financial performance, and sustained client engagement. Drive business growth by developing and executing short- and long-term strategic plans aligned with GDIT’s core capabilities and the evolving needs of SOCOM and Intelligence customers. Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team focused on operational excellence, innovation, and mission delivery. Collaborate with GDIT’s business development, capture, and proposal teams to build and sustain a robust new business and re-compete pipeline. Develop and maintain trusted relationships within USSOCOM, leveraging past performance and proven experience to expand market share. Engage directly in major capture campaigns and proposal development, providing hands-on leadership from opportunity identification through award. Champion and sustain the unique IEX culture—a mission-first, agile, and imaginative organization—while aligning with GDIT’s values of commitment, impact, integrity, imagination, and agility. Leverage GDIT’s Chief Technology Office to cross-pollinate IEX innovation and capabilities across the broader GDIT enterprise. Ensure compliance with U.S. Government regulations, contract requirements, and internal corporate policies.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 8 years of military and/or civilian DoD experience, either as a government employee, uniformed service member, or industry contractor. Demonstrated success in USSOCOM environments, with a verifiable track record of customer engagement and mission delivery. Proven ability to develop and execute growth-oriented business strategies. Experience managing organizations or portfolios exceeding $100M in annual revenue. Skilled in building cohesive teams, leading geographically dispersed personnel, and driving cultural and operational alignment. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (OCONUS) as required.

Desired Skills:

Prior leadership of complex strategic pursuits involving collaboration across BD, Capture, and Operations teams. Familiarity with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) vehicles and non-traditional acquisition strategies. Education & Certifications:
