Our client is currently seeking a Vice President Manufacturing! This is a remote based opportunity that will require multi-state travel to different facilities in the US. About the Role We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Manufacturing to lead all aspects of operations, including Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS), quality, manufacturing, procurement, and operational optimization. This executive role is essential to ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations across multiple in-house manufacturing facilities and third-party partnerships. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all EHSS regulations and internal safety standards. Lead the safe and efficient operation of five in-house manufacturing plants. Oversee quality assurance and control systems to meet regulatory and customer requirements. Maintain manufacturing capacity and reliability to support high on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance. Manage relationships with third-party manufacturers and direct procurement of raw materials, labels, and packaging. Collaborate with Supply Chain, R D, and Commercial teams to implement a robust Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to optimize inventory levels and improve inventory turns. Develop and manage capital expenditure (CapEx) plans for operations. Ensure packaging design and certification meet EPA, DOT, export, and customer compliance standards. Support new product commercialization and product change management through operational readiness. Lead budgeting activities related to operations, including capital planning. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and align operations with strategic business goals. Inspire and lead teams by fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations, preferably in the agriculture or chemical industry. Proven track record of business leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in EHSS and product packaging. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and manage complex projects. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a relevant field. Experience with third-party manufacturing and global supply chains. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
