- As a Miami Cities Lead
- , you will lead/ work with a team of engineers, architects, planners, and specialists to deliver cutting-edge solutions on projects.
This role will be responsible for strategic growth in the Florida+ area, developing and executing growth strategies across all of AECOM’s technical practices. Candidates will be responsible for expanding market share, driving revenue growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and strengthening our regional brand presence. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving profitable growth in the AEC sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- + •Strategic Growth & Market Expansion•+ Develop and execute a regional growth strategy aligned with the firm’s national business objectives.
+ Identify and pursue high-impact business development opportunities across public and private sector clients. + Lead market research, competitive analysis, and client segmentation to guide pursuit strategies. +
- Client Relationship Management
- + Cultivate and expand relationships with key stakeholders including developers, municipalities, agencies, and contractors. + Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional associations to enhance visibility and credibility. + Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying evolving needs and aligning solutions accordingly. +
- Leadership & Collaboration
- + Lead cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, technical, and proposal staff in pursuit of strategic initiatives. + Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term account development. + Mentor and develop regional business development and client service teams. +
- Financial & Operational Oversight
- + Establish and manage regional sales goals, forecasts, KPIs, and growth targets. + Monitor and report on pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics. + Ensure a disciplined approach to go/no-go decisions, proposal quality, and win strategy development. +
- Advocacy and Partnerships
- + Manage the Florida external advocates to ensure cross-business line growth while maintaining accountability and providing reviews and recommendations on existing advocates with recommendations on renewals.
- Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- + BA/BS degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field or demonstrated equivalency + 12+ years of progressive experience in business development or executive leadership within the AEC industry. + Willing and able to travel as required for business & client events.

- + Deep understanding of local/regional market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and key players. + Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
