• Bachelor’s degree in electricalengineering, Energy Management, or related fields. PreferredEducation.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, EnergyManagement, or related fields. Qualifications/Skills/Experience.
• Over 8 years’ experience in managing the electrical engineering oflarge Power Plants, Datacenters or HVDC, or Substation projects.
• Strong Technical knowledge in Electrical Power Systems, MotorControl Centers, MV and LV Switchgear, Transformers, Converters,Rectifiers, Single Line and Three Line Diagrams, etc.
• Experiencein project management and/or managing intercultural teams.
• Advanced experience in the execution of solution projects (proposaland execution phase)
• Knowledge regarding HVDC transmission is anadvantage.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in one or more statesof the USA is an advantage.
• Advanced English language skills andSpanish language skills are an advantage.
• Advanced experience inintercultural collaboration and cooperation with internationalclients, consortium partners, and suppliers
• Proactivecommunication and good coordination skills Responsibilities.
• Overall responsibility for the execution of electrical engineeringin our projects – securing the fulfillment of customer contractsand related specifications.
• Leading the electrical execution teamin close cooperation and communication with the project engineeringmanager and general project management, as well as with otherrelevant stakeholders (e.g., your line manager)
• Managing andmonitoring of our internal and external suppliers, includinghandling of the electrical, I&C, and related layout interfaces
• Project reporting regarding engineering progress, technicalclarifications, and engineering risks or opportunities
• Implementation, steering, and control of the electrical designprocess with focus on related concepts, technical specificationpreparation,n and BoQs
• Identification and proactive management ofrisks, opportunities, and claims
• Monitoring of on-time deliveryof all deliverables, quality, and electrical engineering hourconsumption, and ensuring our EHS standards are met.
• Supportingthe construction site during installation and commissioning tosolve upcoming problems
• Supporting to identification andminimization of non-conformance costs (NCC’s) Only those lawfullyauthorized to work in the designated country associated with theposition will be considered.
