Requirements:

Technical Knowledge:

Familiar with OUC Construction Standards (Overhead & Underground), NEC/NESC codes Understanding of electrical service installation, transformer sizing, voltage drop, and fault current calculations Comfortable interpreting civil/technical drawings, riser diagrams, GIS maps, and AutoCAD files

Software Experience:

Skilled in PSERM, CC&B, AutoCAD, ePets, Arc-Reader, and ARM360 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Field/Project Experience:

Knowledge of permit processes, local jurisdiction requirements, and construction scheduling Hands-on familiarity with tools like measuring wheels, radios, spray paint, stakes, etc. Exposure to field work with utility crews or electric distribution

Analytical Abilities:

Able to compute rates, ratios, fault currents, and perform general electrical load calculations Experience with invoices, estimates, and financial record keeping (gov accounting practices a plus)

Soft Skills & Environment:

Comfortable working in field conditions—weather, insects, tight spaces Clear communication and customer coordination skills for design approvals and permitting Ability to drive, walk, stand, lift up to 20 lbs, and operate typical office and field equipment

Pay Rate:
