Description:
You will be the Operations Engineer reporting to the EMD Operations Manager for 0600, managing Facilitization and construction coordination activities on the 0600 Program. Facilitization is comprised of supporting production sites facility and equipment installation, integration, and transition to production. What You Will Be Doing The Operations Engineer requires the candidate to support proposals, hardware and throughput analysis, layouts, as well as coordination of construction of new facilities.
- Additional support includes span time reduction identification as applicable, and ramping to rate evaluation and support.
- Significant coordination with other functional areas including Engineering, Master Planning, and GSC to drive closure to technical/supplier initiatives or concerns. Responsibilities include leading meetings, identifying opportunities for savings and overall product improvement, program schedule planning, manpower planning, hardware support, scheduling, NRE activities, and lean initiatives.
- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of management via verbal and written correspondence, author Program Directives (PDs) or SOW’s to provide direction per command media requirements.

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
