Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Active Directory Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Active Directory (AD) architecture, design, and operations
, with the ability to both contribute to architectural discussions and execute hands-on tasks. This role involves building, modifying, updating, troubleshooting, and maintaining AD environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Architecture:
Participate in discussions on AD architecture, providing recommendations for improvements and best practices.
Implementation & Operations:
Build, modify, and update Active Directory domains, forests, trusts, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Manage AD replication, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
Perform routine maintenance, health checks, and troubleshooting of AD environments.
Implement security enhancements, including role-based access control (RBAC) and audit policies.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve AD-related issues, including authentication, replication, and performance problems.
Documentation:
Maintain clear documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.
Collaboration:
Work with IT teams to ensure AD integrations with other systems (e.g., Azure AD, LDAP, identity management solutions).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in Microsoft Active Directory (design, deployment, migration, and administration).
Strong understanding of AD architecture
, including domains, forests, sites, trusts, and replication

Hands-on experience with Group Policy Management (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and AD security
.
Ability to troubleshoot complex AD issues (e.g., replication failures, authentication errors).
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for AD automation and management.
