Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead our inspection and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in machined parts inspection , experience with military/defense components , and familiarity with ISO standards , including AS9120:2016 . You’ll supervise a team of inspectors and play an active role in inspections, CMM programming, documentation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise all inspection activities and quality personnel Ensure compliance with Quality Management System standards and procedures Perform inspections on incoming, in-process, and final parts; approve or reject lots accordingly Maintain and oversee the calibration cycle for M&TE (Measurement & Test Equipment) Train inspection staff and ensure CMM programming and operation is up to standard Manage and submit materials and documentation to Source Inspectors Maintain and update quality documentation, including drawings and Certificates of Conformance Review and verify all supplier and internal quality inputs and outputs Monitor team performance, set goals, and evaluate results Oversee
ISO/AS9120
compliance and support internal/external audits Maintain strong communication with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met Qualifications US Citizen•no exceptions Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering 3-5+ years of experience managing a quality inspection team Hands-on inspection experience is required Knowledge of
MIL-SPEC
