Project Manager Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Description Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Project Manager to lead the performance, growth, and operational efficiency of one of our core manufacturing units within the aviation sector. This role is responsible for full P& L ownership, ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, budget management, and customer satisfaction. The Business Unit Manager will lead cross-functional teams, align operations with corporate goals, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the business unit, including production, planning, quality, engineering, and supply chain. + Manage full Profit & Loss (P& L) responsibility for the business unit, ensuring financial performance targets are met or exceeded. + Develop and execute operating plans aligned with corporate objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. + Lead cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs related to delivery, cost, quality, safety, and productivity. + Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to support new program launches, engineering changes, and production scaling. + Ensure compliance with

AS9100, FAA

regulations, customer specifications, and internal quality standards. + Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and optimize efficiency. + Drive talent development, employee engagement, and team performance within the unit. + Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. + 7+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles, with at least 3 years in the aviation/aerospace industry. + Proven experience managing P& L and leading multi-disciplinary teams in a high-precision manufacturing environment. + Deep understanding of aviation industry standards, including AS9100, NADCAP, and FAA compliance. + Strong business acumen and ability to interpret financial reports, forecasts, and key performance metrics. + Track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving cultural change. + Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
