Job Description
Responsibilities The primary function of the Asset Integrity (AI) Mechanical Planner is to support Client mechanical asset integrity program, standards, and work processes. The successful candidate will execute planning within Client protocols to meet or exceed AI goals at The Pace Fl, Amines plant. Provide expertise in mechanical Integrity job planning and ensure these are executed to completion per schedule. Act as part of the MI team to support business on Mechanical Integrity ongoing inspections and projects including, but not limited to, the following:
Inspection Management, Thickness Monitoring, Risk Based Inspection, Asset Criticality Assessment, & Asset Health. Provide interdepartmental coordination, planning and external service quotations for AI inspections.
Support Asset Integrity Turnaround planning.
MISTRAS PCMS
software interface. SAP software interface.
Microsoft Office programs.
Work closely with Reliability Engineer, Filed Inspectors and Technology Specialists and user groups to update systems to accommodate new MI applications and software needs.
Work closely with SAP specialists to establish or enhance the functional location, equipment, technical characteristics and/or work notification/order records necessary for the users work process.
Network with other Client teams in other organizations to:
Ensure we standardize inspections.
Network to share best practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Work in the field will be required up to 50% for planning and follow ups. Qualifications High school diploma.
Knowledge on API 510, 570 and 652.Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.
Experience with SAP, PCMS and/or Project Wise (preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong teamwork skillsMust be a safe conscious worker and have an adherence to Client Basic Safety ExpectationsMust have the physical capability to perform inspection duties in operating areas, including but not limited to: climbing ladders, working on your feet long hours, working around chemical processing equipment, working in all weather conditions, wearing all required personal protective equipment, etc.
