We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer II to join our team! This role is based in Lake Mary, FL via a Hybrid work arrangement of 4 days in office.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Analytical skills – understanding the business ask first before we kick off with design and development Initiative & Ownership – we want someone who can run with the task and see it through completion, whether it be doing analysis around the ask or testing the app along with other tech teams.
Follow and add to our defined architecture, technology standards, and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases for development. Work with the team and architect to design, prototyping and delivery of software solutions, helping manage the technical environment (software, data, interfaces, integration), researching new tools and technologies, and help with developing better analytics solutions. Participate in code reviews and aid in debugging, while continuing to contribute directly to the success of the project deliverables.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
7-9 years of experience in software development required
Java, Spring Boot, REST, NoSQL
Oracle or any other Relational DB.
Experience with messaging – MQ/Kafka is preferred
Micro-Services Architecture, Scalable High Resiliency Systems, Workflow is preferred.
Angular (or React / JavaScript).
Agile Development experience. SDLC Tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git, etc. Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. At BNY, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
