Engineering Manager – Metal Fabrication 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Peachtree City, GA 30269 Talento Search Group has an opening for an Engineering Manager in the Peachtree City, Georgia area. This is a direct-hire position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Confirm new/existing product conditions in the production environment through trials, evaluations, procedures/standards Check operation standards to ensure proper conditions Standardize necessary checkpoints, documents, or other controls regarding all products Correct conditions when necessary and approved Maintain necessary equipment, tools, and standards Troubleshoot various parts, operations, and equipment Assist technical coordinator with activities and meetings Any other duties or projects as assigned
Experience Needed:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field At least 5 years of production engineering experience At least 2 years of engineering management experience Strong background in product cost estimating, precision machining, and metal fabrication Strong 3D CAD experience Solidworks experience is preferred Experience or knowledge in Six Sigma, Lean practices, and 5S Ability to travel for customer meetings as needed – less than 15%
