As a Quality and Environmental Health and Safety Manager (QEHS), you will lead the charge in driving continuous improvement, aiming for zero defects and harm. You’ll develop and oversee systems that meet or exceed organizational and customer standards, ensuring compliance with regulations. You’ll manage and mentor a team, guiding them through performance evaluations, training, and development. Your problem-solving skills will be key in resolving quality issues and EHS incidents, using data-driven solutions and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

What You Will Do Quality Improvement:

Analyze data to propose solutions, verify root cause fixes, and ensure closed-loop corrective actions. Drive quality improvement projects, leveraging Six Sigma Green Belt principles. Collaborate with product teams to meet customer requirements. Write procedures and reports to evaluate system effectiveness. Lead problem-solving initiatives (Lean & Six Sigma) to reduce product variability and risk.

Quality Planning:

Develop programs that meet industry standards and exceed stakeholder expectations. Bridge strategic goals with tactical execution, managing department budgets and performance metrics. Develop and deliver training on quality methods. Serve as the subject matter expert for ISO and other industry standards (ISO 9000, TS16949, ISO14001, ISO45001). Oversee product design, planning, and manufacturing requirements.

Quality Control:

Diagnose and resolve nonconformances, ensuring product quality and compliance. Manage calibration, repeatability, and reproducibility of measurement systems. Conduct internal, supplier, and third-party audits. Provide monthly reports on performance, quality, and safety metrics. Lead site incident management, ensuring compliance and corrective actions.

Employee Management:

Manage staffing and recruitment. Foster growth of employees through continuous learning and problem-solving opportunities. Set SMART goals and identify high-potential leaders. Drive talent development, succession planning, and mentorship for career growth.

What You Will Bring Education:

BS in Technical Field required; Engineering degree preferred.

Certifications:

ASQ CQE, CRE, CMQ/OE or SSBB required; Certified Safety Professional and Qualified quality, safety and environmental auditor preferred.

Experience:

3-5 years in quality or EHS role and 2+ years in leadership position.

Industry Knowledge:

Expertise in industry standards, including IATF16949, Advanced Quality Planning, FMEAs, control plans, SPC, and audits.

Skills:

Strong communication, influence, and presentation skills. Ability to lead, coach, and collaborate at all levels. Experience with project management and problem solving.

Collaboration:

Proven success working across teams and regions with a focus on results and adaptability to changing priorities.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong math and data analysis skills, with experience in statistical methods, Power BI, charting, and data mining tools.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $100,000
