Electrical Project Manager LaborWorx Industrial Staffing Fairburn, GA 30213
Job Description:
- Procure jobs for Facility § Travel to plants and make introductions to new potential clients 2-3 times per week. § Make customer calls and follow-ups to foster client relationships § Estimate and prepare preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction estimates § Maintain all current estimating records, studies and unit pricing
- Participate in pre-construction, design development to detect over-runs and potential problem areas
- Develop and demonstrate high standards of integrity and professionalism at all times when representing AMCON Facility Solutions, its leadership, its partners, and its clients.
- Develop a positive working relationship and mentor employees within AMCON Facility Solutions
- Perform Mechanical services as requested § Manage installation and maintenance style mechanical work for industrial based clients § Manage subcontractors, manpower scheduling and ordering of materials in a timely manner needed for successful completion of work to be performed
- Initiate line of communication with customer at onset of project
- Develop and maintain schedule of deliverables based on project schedule needs including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and budgets. o Relaying this information into a rolling forecast to accurately project billings.
- Leads project kick-off meetings and communicate project goals and expectations to team members.
- Coordinate the shop drawing process and the engineering process related to an SOW
- Understand the roles and facilitate the needs of purchasing, fabrication, installation and accounting to accommodate the needs of assigned projects
- Prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure efficiency
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all project related documents
- Recognize changes to project (e.g., change in project schedule, change in project scope of work, etc.) § Issue and track change orders as they occur § Schedule additional manpower if needed § Order additional materials if need
- Resolve issues related to projects
- Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures with field employees
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Assists with other responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- Ability to travel to customer facilities, job sites, manufacturing facilities, and fabrication facilities as necessary.
- Travel 30% to 60%
