Head Of Engineering (part of Allegis Group) 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Roswell, GA 30075 Head of Engineering Job Description We are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead strategic and tactical engineering initiatives aimed at enhancing current processes and collaborating with R D to construct and scale-up new processes for pipeline products. This critical leadership role requires leading a team dedicated to process stability and compliance, driving technical advancements through engineering solutions, and applying lean manufacturing and operational excellence principles to elevate product quality, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance across the organization. Responsibilities Define and execute a new product roadmap focused on efficient development and scale-up of new processes in collaboration with R D. Generate technical solutions to recurring and potential process issues to drive optimization, repeatability, and sustainable gains. Embody servant leadership by assisting in the growth and development of the engineering team through collaboration, technical knowledge sharing, problem-solving, effective coaching, and inspiring excellence. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement through the teaching and application of lean manufacturing and operational excellence principles. Demonstrate ownership of critical elements within the quality management system to ensure operations proceed in accordance with regulatory standards and expectations. Partner with leaders in Manufacturing, Quality, and R D to pursue excellence in all facets of work. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering. 20+ years of experience in lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or process improvement roles. 8+ years applying Lean skills in an AATB and/or FDA regulated industry. 12+ years of leading a team responsible for driving process efficiencies, managing compliance requirements, and supporting investigations critical to assessing event impact on product quality, safety, and efficacy. Fully versed in Lean principles and continuous improvement methods with a demonstrated history of application and results. Ability to teach and coach others effectively. Analytical and process-driven to convert data into actionable plans. Possess a bias for action. Six Sigma Certified – Green Belt accepted, Black Belt preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Project management experience. Experience with cleanroom environments. Strong leadership skills.
