ENGINEERING MANAGER
Northeast of Atlanta, GA Salary:
$120-150 K + bonus Our client is an industry leading, family owned plastics manufacturer. This is a brand new facility! They are seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead the technical production process and lead a small team of engineers. This individual will report directly to the plant manager. This is a hands on, process engineer/industrial engineer leadership role. Come be a part of a great and growing team!
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor a team of process engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise. Lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, yield, and product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, and R D, to achieve manufacturing goals. Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with specifications. Analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Understanding of electrical (sensors, motors, PLC’s, etc.).
Qualifications:
3+ years process engineer/industrial engineer related experience in manufacturing (plastics preferred). Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred). Leadership experience. Knowledge of continuous improvement/Lean manufacturing. Strong technical background. Willing to travel up to 20%.
