The Vice President of R D will lead the research and development efforts of our company, focusing on innovative ceramics and related materials. This role is essential for driving product development, enhancing existing processes, and ensuring our technology remains at the forefront of the industry. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute R D strategies aligned with company goals
Oversee the research and development of new ceramic materials and processing methods
Lead a team of engineers and scientists in innovative projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market
Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively for R D initiatives
Evaluate and implement new technologies and processes in ceramics, including extrusion, casting, and injection molding
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the R D team
Qualifications
Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in R D within the ceramics industry
Proven track record of leadership in a senior management role, preferably as Vice President or similar
Strong knowledge of ceramics processing methods including extrusion, casting, and injection molding
Experience with additive manufacturing and coatings
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
