We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to join our team to design, integrate, and deliver Private 4G/5G Cellular solutions and Private Network & Edge solutions to our customers across several vertical markets such as, Telco Service Provider Energy Utilities Transportation/Rail Mining Government Manufacturing Logistics Primary Responsibilities Lead the Engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of Private/Public network Solutions and Services Scope and Design Private/Public Cellular, Fixed Wireless, Wireline, IoT and Wi-Fi network solutions Provide technical thought leadership on 5G/4G standards, reference architectures, and vendor-specific solutions. Participate in network requirements and design sessions to assist in developing proposals and quotes. Assist with developing Site Acceptance Test plans, User Acceptance Test plans in consultation with the Customer Oversee I&C, Validation testing, RF Optimization recommendations for Project closure Provide Tier 2 operational support for On-Air networks Work with delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and with high quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives resulting in increased productivity, as well as scalable and efficient processes that support FT business initiatives Cultivate strong relationships with vendors to influence product features and resolve issues promptly. Support the Executive Leadership team in converting company strategy to a paired technology strategy that meets the business needs of the company and the technical needs of the company’s customers What you’ll bring Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in Private/Public cellular network design and implementation. Minimum 4 years of experience in IP network design and implementation. Working knowledge on Microwave, Fixed Wireless and Cellular Modems is a plus Knowledgeable in RF planning and physical site surveys. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly collaborative with internal and external teams. Organized with attention to detail. Adaptable and flexible with a proactive mindset. Industry certifications like iBWave, CCNP, CCNA are preferred
