The Project Engineering Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within the automotive manufacturing sector.
This role is crucial in ensuring that projects meet quality standards, are completed on time, and stay within budget, while also aligning with the company’s strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure project success.
Develop project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and milestones, and monitor progress against these plans.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF, ISO, and relevant automotive regulations.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including suppliers and OEM partners, to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize FMEA and GMEA methodologies to identify and resolve potential failure modes in projects.
Oversee the assembly process and ensure that production meets the established quality and efficiency targets. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the automotive industry or a related field.
Strong understanding of OEM and Tier 1 supplier dynamics in the automotive supply chain.
Proven experience with manufacturing processes, specifically in molding and assembly.
Familiarity with IATF and ISO standards applicable to automotive manufacturing.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex project challenges. Benefits
