PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams at the Andersen Windows location in Locust Grove, GA. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing an annual strategy focused on operational excellence, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and eliminating variation within our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced strategic-thinking leader that has a passion for developing and leading a high-performing team. This position ensures that the assigned Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams operate in accordance with Andersen’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set clear goals and objectives, assess progress, and instill a performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountability
Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, MIT, safety, and supply chain to lead and manage change
Deploy a strategy that builds, retains, and engages all employees through inclusion and teamwork, and provides a safe and special place to work
Aligns resources to strategic goals and objectives
Ensure our teams and working partners adhere to corporate processes and utilize project management toolkits
Work with business partners and leverage data to determine project focus and improvement opportunities Provide resource allocation guidance for the engineering and maintenance teams through analysis of current and future state workload, skill, experience, and qualifications
Develop, execute, and manage the capital and expense budgets for the engineering team
Identify, recruit, and onboard talent as needed
Acquire the appropriate people, technology, equipment, and financial resources necessary to meet internal and external customer expectations
Provide coaching, information, ideas, feedback, and encouragement to employees and managers to promote the growth and development of the engineering team
Be highly visible within the value stream to create a safe environment for collaboration and participation
Promote a hands-on, high-involvement approach to problem solving
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
4-year degree in engineering, technology, or management
5-10 years of experience in a technical leadership role (engineering, quality, etc.)
Background in manufacturing preferred
Strong coaching and people development skills
Demonstrated knowledge of basic corporate finance, budgeting, accounting
Strong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groups
Able to develop and maintain a respectful and safe work environment
COMPENSATION
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn between $121,804 – $188,796 annually.

PROFIT SHARING
In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
