Position Summary:
We are seeking a strong, results-oriented senior leader for our Earthwork Division. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of earthwork operations, including project planning, resource allocation, team leadership, and client relations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in earthmoving and civil construction, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving successful projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Earthwork Division, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards. Develop and implement division strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, optimizing profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Drive team performance by setting clear goals, mentoring team members, and fostering a positive, productive work environment. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in earthwork, excavation, or civil construction, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role. Strong understanding of earthmoving equipment, construction techniques, and best practices. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and multi-disciplinary teams. Proven track record in budget management, financial forecasting, and cost control. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Proficient in project management software, MS Office, and other relevant industry tools.
