Job Description
•POSITION SUMMARY•Assist the Quality Director and Quality Manager w management of the Quality Management System and review its effectiveness. Perform root cause analysis of nonconforming products and conduct studies to implement improvements in products. Perform and arrange for performance of internal audits of the quality management system.
Determine and track department goals. Take action on nonconforming products and customer complaints. Verify that all quality documentation is maintained and properly completed. Maintain equipment calibration and supports record keeping ensuring equipment is calibrated in accordance with appropriate schedules. Work cross functionally to reduce non-conformances and improve product quality.
Technologies•:•Lean manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate waste in production processes, lead kaizen events and 5S to foster a culture of continuous improvement across teams and facilitate value stream mapping sessions to analyze current processes and develop future state maps. Proficiency in ISO standards to ensure compliance with
ISO 9000
quality management standards and maintain documentation as required, conduct audits to assess adherence to ISO standards, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions in response to audit findings. Proficiency in MS office including Power BI, Forms, and quality analysis tools like Minitab. Knowledge of SPC, and Capacity Studies.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in engineering can be mechanical, industrial, computer science or related field, 12 months experience in Quality/Validation/Process Engineering fields of which 6 months should be experience attending relevant internships. Class D drivers license required. Must be able to pass drug and background, and physical assessment test.
