Description:
PacTec, Inc., a global provider of flexible waste packaging is hiring a Vice President of Engineering and Production who will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all engineering and production manufacturing activities. This role involves setting the production strategy, managing engineering and production teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products.
Requirements:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Leading the Engineering department to support efficient product design, detailed and thorough costing, timely support of Sales Leading the production department to efficiently produce berms and sewed products to serve existing and new customers Develop KPI’s to determine the success of the department Build and install a continuous improvement mindset in the Engineering and Production departments
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and procedures. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of balancing frequently shifting priorities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; MBA preferred. Minimum 10+ years’ progressive leadership experience, including executive-level leadership in administration and production management
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
