Competitive Salary Great Benefits Engineering Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Strong leadership & Change Management experience. Pre-engineered metal building manufacturing experience. CAPEX (budgeting) design. This position will lead a team of engineers, CAD technicians, and detailers. Working knowledge of statistical techniques. Root cause analysis tools. Strong working knowledge of metal forming equipment and welding (MIG & TIG). Hands on experience and knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and electronics. Develop an engineering strategy and implement initiatives to support the team in achieving business growth through production and quality goals. Collaborate with external vendors to meet production targets, including fostering vendor development to enhance throughput and streamline operations. Establish the strategic direction for the engineering team to promote organic growth while ensuring profitability and optimal resource utilization. Lead and nurture a high-performing engineering team through effective goal setting, performance management, and the development of production metrics to achieve overarching business objectives. Supervise mechanical engineers in production, inspection and review of tools. Ensuring quality and timeliness. Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs. Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors. Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally Experience and proven ability to implement effective systems, processes, and metrics. Proficient with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 products and ability to learn and use ERP systems.
