The Certification Leader works across Aviation Engineering with the Airworthiness & Certification (A&C) group, Regulatory Compliance Engineers (RCEs), systems model engineers, and component design engineers to drive all certification efforts and meet required certification dates across the Turboshaft programs. The Certification Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives and develops and integrates processes that meet business needs across the organization. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Execute with limited guidance the assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements. Serve as the prime Certification point of contact for the assigned programs to the A&C group
Develop and present all materials to the Organization Designation Authorization and/or the FAA in support of certifications
Formulate, recommend, and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules, and contract commitments
Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to certification questions/issues
Provide technical guidance to Rotorcraft personnel and related teams
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
Participate as a presenter or reer in technical and program res Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering position
Minimum of 1 year of turbomachinery experience

Experience working with the A&C organization and Organization Designation Authorization structure
Experience interfacing with the FAA Engine Certification Office
