Release Manager/Engineer Springfield, MA Temp-to-perm Need to beonsite 3 days a week minimum when COVID restrictions are lifted.

This position is for a Release Manager/Engineer contractor with apossible conversion to Perm. There are multiple environment hubs orchannels which support various stages of development for specificbusinesses. These hubs are driven off a main parent hub whichincludes a data warehouse, queuing and event management engine,microservices/API’s, ETL, Forms and Rules Engine. A releasemanager/engineer is needed to lead a team to manage thehubs/channels and environments. The following are required skills,knowledge and capabilities: Accountable for the Release Managementlifecycle, to include scheduling, coordinating, and management ofreleases enterprise-wise for multiple applications. Hands on asRelease manager in an agile environment with multiple developmentenvironments within a single release train. Must be able tomanagement multiple release trains/channels, including promotionthrough lower environments and for production/pre-prod/performanceenvironments in an AWS cloud environment using DevOps/CICDExperience with building and implementing release managementpractice from scratch including processes, procedures,documentation as well as onboard team members. Be able to identifythe major components of Release Manage and what they entailEffectively guide defect management and change management withinthe release management structure. Coordinate and manage offshoreteam directly (India and/or Romania) Highly organized, articulate,resilient to people pulling and pushing, good soft skills to getvery busy people to do what needs to be done. Create integratedprocesses with existing Data Center Production Support personneland other Delivery Partners. Experience with the automationpipeline (CICD), application release automation tools, Jenkins,Git, as well as automation overall. Must have experience withversion control and branching strategies of APIs, microservices,sql, Database, and test data within a single release branch as wellas across parallel branches doing different streams of work thatmust converge Should have working knowledge of Database (MySQL,SQLserver, NOSQL), SQL development, API and Microservicesdevelopment processes Design and create Reporting Metrics and SLA’saround the release management functions.
