Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are searching for a senior technical leader to help drive and develop future generations of AMD CPUs. This leader will have a high visibility role in future industry-leading CPU development, from early concept through production. This is an experienced, high-performing team developing state of the art microprocessors.

THE PERSON

This role combines strong people leadership and teamwork skills, technical expertise, and management skills for a large-scale and complex development environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional management of the Cores team and team development Development of future high-performance CPUs in collaboration with teams and peers across multiple domestic and global sites

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Demonstrated leadership and team building plus management capabilities Proven large project leadership experience Strong technical skills, preferably with a computer architecture/RTL/microarchitecture or closely related background Demonstrated working knowledge/expertise in end-to-end CPU development process, from early concept through production, logical and physical views, etc
