My client is seeking a highly motivated and experiencedEngineering Manager to lead a small engineering team. Thesuccessful candidate will oversee engineering activities related tonew product introduction (NPI), process development, continuousimprovement, and technical support to production. This role plays apivotal part in ensuring efficient manufacturing processes,high-quality outputs, and the integration of new technologies.

DescriptionReporting into the VP of Technical Solutions, you will beresponsible for the following: Lead and manage engineering teams toensure optimal productivity and performance. Lead and manage a teamof engineers and technicians across process, manufacturing, andquality engineering disciplines. Oversee engineering support forproduction, ensuring efficient operations, root cause analysis, andtimely problem resolution. Drive new product introduction (NPI)projects from design transfer through production readiness.

Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost,increase quality, and improve lead times. Collaborate withcross-functional teams including Quality, Production, Supply Chain,and Sales. Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality systemrequirements (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100). Evaluate and implement newmanufacturing technologies and equipment. Support customertechnical engagements, including design for manufacturability (DFM)consultations. Develop engineering documentation including processflows, work instructions, and PFMEAs. Recruit, train, and mentorengineering staff to build a high-performance team. Profile Asuccessful Engineering Manager should have: Bachelor’s degree inMechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field(Master’s preferred). Minimum of 7 years of experience in amanufacturing environment, preferably in medical device, aerospace,plastics, or high-precision industries. Strong knowledge of CNCmachining, plastics processing, or advanced manufacturing methods.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuousimprovement methodologies. Proficient with CAD/CAM tools and ERPsystems. Excellent communication, leadership, and projectmanagement skills.
