Description Cobalt is seeking a dynamic VP of Engineering to lead and mentor a global team of engineers to build the world’s most powerful AI driven offensive security platform. Reporting to the CTO, you will work closely with product management to execute the technology initiatives required to support the company’s rapid growth plans. What You’ll Do Lead, hire, manage, mentor, and coach a team of global engineers as we build the leading scalable Offensive Security Platform Own the ongoing improvements of our existing offerings and the build out of new innovative products as we grow our portfolio Collaborate with the senior leadership team on cross functional initiatives Own the technical vision and architecture of our platform, ensuring that we are building for scale, stability, and resiliency Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation Create and implement standards around quality, efficiency and security Drive the adoption of best practices in engineering design, architecture, and development, ensuring all solutions are scalable, resilient, and high-performing Develop and own the strategy to continuously improve engineering quality and efficiency leveraging AI technologies, coding best practices, and agile methodologies You Have 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in building SaaS cybersecurity products. The salary range for this role is ($225,000 – $285,000) per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
