Engineer or Planner to serve as a valuable member of our
multi-disciplinary team located in one of our NE office locations. The
candidate will be responsible for helping grow our Smart City,
micro-mobility, TDM, Safe Streets, and multi-modal activities. More
importantly the candidate will be a crucial leader in our private
development/traffic impact work. You would be working closely with our
multi-disciplinary team of transportation planners and engineers,
environmental professionals, and urban planners/designers.
The right candidate will also be able to win work, identify
opportunities, manage client relationships, and create new clients.
Experience preparing proposals and responding to RFPs/RFQs is a critical
skill. As a leader in the group, presentationsof work products to
municipal, state, and regional offices is a must have skill. Key Responsibilities Winning work Collaborating across disciplines Public outreach and engagement with strong communication skills Developing creative yet realistic solutions Staff Management Meeting project schedules on-budget Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning, Urban
Planning, or related field.
P.E., relevant professional
certification, or Masters Degree in related field a plus Minimum of ten (10) years of increasingly responsible professional
experience Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to
present and convey information clearly and concisely Familiarity with local, state, and federal guidelines/standards,
policies, and procedures Desire to be on the forefront of the evolving transportation
planning field Familiarity with emerging best-practices/guidelines in
transportation, smart cities, micro-mobility, and urban
transportation Valid drivers license Willing to travel by airplane and car, including overnight travel Commitment to quality The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is
$100,000.00 to $120,000.00. Individual salaries within those ranges
are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not
limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
