Job Summary:
Scope of Work
- Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, and other relationships:
Responsible for SP&C Substation designs for NECEC portfolio in Maine and this includes input into standards and training needs.
Will be in charge of Owners Engineering design reviews for the SP&C Scope related to the NECEC Project. Defining P&C criteria, equipment standards, settings in addition to supporting all themissioning activities for the NECEC project.
Position reports to the Manager

TL, but the position will work day-to-day in cross functional project team and support project needs as dictated by the project manager.
Major Roles and Responsibilities (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):
NECEC engineering performance including all phases such as: scoping and budgeting, conceptual engineering, contract management and design, engineering design, construction and closeout.
Perform standard andplex electrical engineering analyses, designs and calculations using standard methodology and principles and other viable approaches. Develop alternate methods or design concepts to resolve problems or to improve processes/services
Responsible for leading and creating new conceptual designs and overseeing the work of external detailed designers.
Solve unique andplex electrical engineering problems. Analyzes possible solutions and assesses each using standard procedures related to lines and power engineering.
Ensure all engineering designs implemented by thepany meet applicablepany, local, state, and national codes and standards.
