The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, with expertise in engineering principles and practices. This role requires exceptional time management skills, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with contractual obligations. Responsibilities Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets Manage capital and expense projects from cradle to grave Develop project requirements, deliverables, schedules, scopes, and budgets. Procure necessary consultants, contractors, materials, and equipment to support projects Develop multi-year project budgets Manage the day-to-day project activities including but not limited to permits, operations schedules, other department stakeholders, contractors, and general contractor activities Reading and developing process flow diagrams (PIP standards) An understanding of industrial batch processes Complete root cause analysis and corrective measures Complete job safety analysis and appropriate documentation Coordinate with cross-functional teams to build project schedules and allocate resources effectively Develop detailed project plans that include milestones, deliverables, and risk assessments Conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide project execution. Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities using for tracking purposes Qualification, knowledge and experience Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline 5 years of engineering and project management experience Basic understanding of chillers, steam boilers, process heating systems, oxidizers, cooling towers, bonding and grounding, pumps, and industrial controls and automation Pressure vessel experience SAP experience preferred Auto Cad experience Process safety management training Hands on experience preferred Project scheduling software Proven experience in project management within the engineering field and an industrial environment is essential Strong proficiency in using project management tools for scheduling and resource allocation Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders cross functionally Experience in contract management and understanding of contractual obligations related to engineering projects Must be able to climb ladders, access roofs, and work in an unconditioned environment Must be able to lift 50lbs (All employees must be meet the minimum work requirements and be able to perform the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.)
