Manufacturing Engineering Manager The Richmond Group USA Mississippi State, MS 39762 The Richmond Group USA – Manufacturing Search Division is engaged in a search for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join a top-tier OEM of commercial equipment manufacturer. This high-impact leadership role, open due to a promotion, offers a strong succession path for an engineering professional with aspirations toward broader operations leadership. This is a highly visible position with direct access to senior leadership, offering the opportunity to influence strategic direction while leading a talented team. You’ll drive lean transformation, guide continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally with product development, logistics, and customer care. Background Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field; advanced degree or MBA a plus. 7+ years in manufacturing engineering with experience leading teams in a complex, multi-product environment.
Lean Expertise:
Strong background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and driving measurable SQDP improvements.
Project & Cross-Functional Management:
Skilled in managing ECNs, leading cross-functional efforts, and supporting new product introductions.
Technical Strength:
Proficient in time studies, routing, CAD/3D modeling, and ERP systems; experienced with capital equipment justification.
Operations-Oriented:
