Description Job Summary:

The Burlington group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Textile Dyeing Specialist to oversee our dye process and dyehouse operations at our manufacturing location in Burlington, NC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dyeing processes, exceptional leadership abilities, and proven project management skills. This role is essential for ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation within our automated dyeing departments. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the automated dyehouse team, distributing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
Provide technical expertise in fabric, package, and/or stock dyeing processes under strict color control.
Oversee all dyeing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding quality, safety, and sustainability.
Develop and implement dyeing strategies and processes that enhance productivity and reduce waste while maintaining high-quality standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets to achieve project goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R D, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze dyeing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to dyeing processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field/related work experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a dyehouse environment, with a focus on technical management.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Strong project management skills with experience in managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and influence stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of dyeing techniques, color theory, and textile chemistry.
