POSITION SUMMARY

- is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader that will lead and oversee the Manufacturing Engineering and Advanced Engineering teams, driving innovation, operational excellence, and strategic development across the product lifecycle.
This role is responsible for aligning engineering initiatives with business goals, ensuring efficient production processes, and fostering the integration of cutting-edge technologies into manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both traditional manufacturing practices and emerging engineering technologies, with proven leadership experience in cross-functional team environments. This position requires a forward-thinking leader who can balance day-to-day operational needs with long-term innovation strategies.

Responsibilities:
- + Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering and Advanced Engineering teams, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance management.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives and kaizens to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Support FBS (Ralliant Business System) growth. + Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products. + Develop and manage engineering budgets, resource planning, and capital investment projects. + Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all engineering activities. + Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the engineering organization. + Manage a broad variety of products in a vertically integrated business as the technical expert across multiple brands. + Lead Problem Solving Initiatives. + Lead FMEA, Reliability Studies, etc. + Support FBS (Ralliant Business System) continuous improvement initiatives + Plan, manage and report status of projects to the broader organization and management. + Work closely with sales and marketing, contribute to strategic planning process and develop product roadmaps to meet company growth initiatives. + Develop detailed design requirements by understanding / obtaining voice of the customer, general market knowledge, competitive assessment and working with the sales and marketing organizations. + Lead benchmarking and reverse engineering efforts to assess competitive technologies. + Identify product costs and manage projects accordingly using a multistage gate development process. + Engineering Change Notice (ECN): Oversee updates to engineering drawings, Bills of Materials, verification plans, and test reports, ensuring accurate communication across teams. +
Lean Manufacturing & Process Optimization:
Lead design and optimization of lean manufacturing processes, reducing waste and improving efficiency. Ensure proper documentation of standard work. +
Manufacturing Documentation:
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams to support operations.

Qualifications:
- + BS in Engineering; MBA preferred + 8-10 years of experience engineering mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical based products + Advanced understanding and use of engineering tools such as DFMEAs, statistical engineering techniques, Design of Experiments, product capability analysis, etc.
+ Experience working in multi-discipline team framework with formal project planning. + Minimum of 5 years managing technical direct reports. + Experience managing budgets across multiple projects and responsibilities + Proven problem-solving skills + Demonstrated experience as the technical lead for strategic initiative planning. + Strong technical leadership and excellent interpersonal skills. + Ability to function effectively in a cross functional team environment. + Ability to work independently and develop / execute action plans to achieve results. + Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects utilizing internal and external resources including global product development partners. + Experience working in a culture where results matter and metrics are utilized. + Experienced in prototyping and evaluating design concepts. + Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills including the ability to perform root cause analysis. + Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be capable of working closely with direct customers

- + US Citizenship required. + Some local and international travel will be expected. + 3-D modeling package, SolidWorks preferred + Statistical Engineering, Design of Experiments, Failure Analysis, etc. + Able to work independently without supervision. + Ability to lead through influence + Self- motivated, creative thinker. + Ability to look beyond the obvious solutions #LI-RB
