Weare seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Quality Manager tojoin our growing team in the Engineering industry. This role isintegral to ensuring the highest standards of quality control andassurance across our organization. The successful candidate will beresponsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ourquality management systems. Responsibilities:
Develop andimplement quality management systems in accordance with theorganization’s objectives. Facilitate and lead team efforts toestablish and monitor customer/supplier relations, supportingstrategic planning and deployment initiatives. Implement AdvancedProduct Quality Planning (APQP) in new product developmentprocesses. Utilize Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) forapproving new parts for production. Drive continuous improvementactivities, using root cause analysis and implementing correctiveactions to resolve quality issues. Manage and maintain thecompany’s quality inspection and product release programs forincoming and in-process materials and components, processes andfinished goods. Set and enforce document control procedures toensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliancewith ISO standards. Conduct audits, creating audits finding reportsand determine proper corrective and preventive actions. Analyzefailure, corrective and preventive actions to respond to customercomplaints. Conduct risk assessments using Failure Modes andEffects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risks in theproduction process. Develop and manage quality control metrics forperformance improvement of all teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager role withinthe Engineering industry. Strong knowledge of Advanced ProductQuality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP),and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Proven experiencewith root cause analysis and the implementation of correctiveactions. Demonstrated proficiency in document control procedures.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability toinspire and motivate a team. Strong analytical, problem-solving,and decision-making capabilities. Exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite andfamiliarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS). CertifiedQuality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), orsimilar certification would be considered an asset.
