We offer time off to refresh and recharge. location_on Durham, NC On-Site trip_origin Freudenberg Performance Materials LP (USA) You support our team as Quality Manager, US Responsibilities Responsible for managing the US region, 2 plants, Quality Control Departments, including Managers, Quality Engineers, Technicians, QC Lab, APDL Lab. Lead the Continuous Improvement of Product Quality through the life cycle from new products to manufacturing Implement and maintain the Quality Management System requirements, IATF and ISO Certifications Set the Quality Objectives and Goals for the Sites Drive improvement in Customer Quality and feedback, visit Customers as needed to address and improve quality Monitor and improve the Total Cost of Quality, which includes both Internal and External Costs Work with cross-functional teams to focus quality efforts, identify root causes, corrective and preventive actions Participate as a member of the regional Management Team, reporting on Quality trends and developing Quality Strategy Responsible for Supplier Quality which also includes outside processes, convertors, pass thru, etc. Collaborate with other Freudenberg sites to identify and implement Best Practices Qualifications 4-year Bachelor’s degree in a Technical field is required 5 years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment, Nonwovens and Textiles experience preferred At least 3 years of management experience at a similar level Certified six sigma black belt Knowledge of ISO and IATF Standards The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
