Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business in Sheffield in their search for a Quality Manager. The company specialises in high-performance machining, complex component fabrication, and advanced manufacturing technologies, primarily serving the aerospace, automotive, energy, and defence sectors. Duties & resonsibilities: Managing day-to-day operations of the quality department, leading and developing the Quality Engineering team. Driving quality performance through KPIs, internal/external audits, and continual improvement initiatives. Acting as the main point of contact for customer quality matters including FAIRs, FPDs, concessions, and NCRs. Promoting and enforcing quality discipline and awareness across all departments. Conducting root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods. Managing and updating FMEA documentation, quality training, toolbox talks, and quality inductions. Supporting health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance in collaboration with our EHS team. I’m keen to speak to Quality professionals with the following skillset : Proven experience in a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality systems, internal/external audits, and compliance requirements. Skilled in root cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and quality tools like FMEA. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities. Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively across departments and with customers. Passionate about continuous improvement, safety, and sustainability.
