Job Description
Description Drive and coordinate repair, mods, upgrades, and Design for Repair (DfR) development and qualification projects (technical and timeline responsibility) Support implementation of new repair technologies (e.g. additive manufacturing), provide technical shop support and process related non-conformance evaluations Collaborate with lifing & design engineering, quality and manufacturing to deliver repair solutions Ensure documentation, tracking and communication of project achievements, risk assessments/mitigations, and process qualifications Contribute to cost-out initiatives and process improvements through structured project work Collaborate with global teams and support knowledge transfer across regions Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field
Experience:
15+ years minimum Experience in manufacturing processes, materials behavior, design for manufacturing, and/or repair technologies is preferred Shown ability to handle technical projects, including planning and coordination, with an affinity for digital tools and data-driven problem solving Experience with SAP and Mendix as well as basic programming or data analysis skills (e.g., Python, Excel
VBA, SQL
) is a plus New Product IPT (Integrated Product Team) mentality with strong organizational and communication skills for multi-functional collaboration, proactive mentality, customer-focused, structured working style, and team-oriented attitude Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%) for project and shop support activities,and willingness to international partnership
