Position Summary
The Vice President of Asset Management will lead the strategic oversight of the firm’s growing portfolio, with a primary focus on maximizing asset performance and value. This individual will work closely with internal teams and third-party partners to execute business plans, monitor financial and operational performance, and drive long-term value across the multifamily and industrial portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of asset-level business plans, including leasing strategies, capital improvements, and repositioning initiatives.
Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Manage third-party property management and leasing teams to ensure alignment with asset strategy and performance goals.
Conduct regular site visits and operational reviews to ensure optimal property performance.
Collaborate with acquisitions, construction, and finance teams to ensure seamless transitions from acquisition through stabilization and disposition.
Prepare and present asset performance updates to senior leadership and investors.
Identify and implement operational efficiencies and revenue enhancement opportunities.
Qualifications
7-10+ years of experience in real estate asset management, with a strong background in multifamily and/or industrial properties.
Proven track record of driving asset performance and executing value-add strategies.
Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with property-level financials and investment modeling.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Familiarity with the Southeastern U.S. real estate markets is a plus.
