About the Role Are you a hands-on quality leader with a passion for precision and continuous improvement? We’re looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team and lead quality assurance across our OEM metal manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring customer satisfaction, audit readiness, and manufacturing excellence. What You’ll Do ???? Lead Quality Systems & Compliance Enforce

ISO 9001, IATF

16949, and customer-specific quality requirements Act as site lead for 3rd-party and customer audits Maintain quality certifications and ensure audit readiness ???? Drive Quality Improvement Reduce internal/external defect rates using data-driven problem-solving (8D, Root Cause, Six Sigma) Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), PFMEAs, PPAPs, and First Piece Inspections Oversee complaint resolution and customer communication, acting as primary contact for major OEM accounts ???? Manage & Coach the Quality Team Set goals, train, and lead salaried technical staff Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and development Provide timely reporting to senior leadership on plant quality KPIs (PPM, cost of quality, on-time delivery, etc.) ???? Collaborate Across Functions Work with Engineering to design quality into new processes and tooling Champion MRB and nonconforming material processes Manage gage calibration, capability studies, and quality-related capital projects Who You Are ? Experienced Leader 8+ years in metal manufacturing (10+ without a 4-year degree) 5+ years managing salaried or technical personnel ? Technical Expert Deep knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and OEM customer requirements Skilled in GD&T, precision measuring tools, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC ERP experience (IFS preferred) and Minitab proficiency ? Detail-Oriented Problem Solver Strong command of root cause analysis and data analytics Passion for continuous improvement, process orientation, and lean principles Preferred Qualifications ????
