Construction Program Leader to coordinate interfaces, construction sequencing, and installation processes/ procedures. This role will partner with the Strategic Sourcing Leader to identify and partner with strategic suppliers/fabricators for global deployment. This role will interface with the Advanced Nuclear EPC Leader to provide up to date and accurate information on product and delivery costing including insight into location specific impacts to standard costing and schedule assumptions. Ensures the quality programs for modularization meet the product requirements, working within GE Vernova and the global supply chain. Actively participate in trade studies to drive creative exploration of concept and design alternatives as a basis for developing lower cost design approaches. Facilitate communication and collaboration between product management, engineering, sourcing, and cost estimating using real-time productivity tools in common environments. Interject oneself into the product management, design, estimating, and sourcing processes. Work with

Product Managers and the Value Engineering team to execute strategies to achieve stated product cost targets, while ensuring value is addressed on a continuing basis as part of design, procurement, fabrication/manufacturing, and construction. Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments related to modularization program risks. Success of this program is measured by installed cost targets and Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) objectives. Additional measurements include, but are not limited to, improved maintainability, increased scalability, faster deployment, and reduced complexity.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university. 10+ years of experience in the power industry or industrial plant design or construction.
Eligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel 25% domestically and internationally. The preferred work locations is the Wilmington, NC Headquarters but highly qualified remote (US based) candidates will be considered This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Desired Characteristics:
Deep understanding of large-scale modular design, fabrication, and assembly processes. Demonstrated ability to manage large capital investment program(s) and to work independently with minimal direction required Understanding of large-scale capital project costs and estimates. Strong analytic skills with an emphasis on critical, systems thinking, root cause analysis, and business case elaboration and analysis. Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal. Experience with project coordination, on-site assembly, factory management, and quality assurance programs. Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages results. Strong influencing and relationship building skills at all levels. Drive to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside GEH (customers, partners, and regulatory bodies). Proven self-starter with ability to break down barriers and improve cross functional collaboration.
Location:
Wilmington, NC The base pay range for this position is $154,000 to $205,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
