Engineering Program Manager Job Description The Engineering Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring that project schedules are accurate, comprehensive, and inclusive of all roles and activities required for the successful execution of large capital projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and an understanding of digital engineering. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules that reflect all roles, activities, and milestones. Ensure alignment and coordination among various teams and stakeholders to meet project timelines. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency. Communicate priorities and manage impacts of changes across the Digital Engineering Organization. Maintain comprehensive documentation of project schedules, changes, and updates. Facilitate clear and effective communication between the digital engineering team, project managers, and other stakeholders. Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies. Generate and distribute regular schedule status reports to stakeholders. Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet project demands. Provide guidance and support to the digital engineering team to ensure adherence to project schedules. Essential Skills Expertise in P6 and Tableau. Ability to work in complexity. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with project management software and tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of configuration management principles is a plus. 5+ years of experience in program management. Understanding of schedule/resource loading and digital engineering. Resource planning and tracking skills. Background in software/hardware/product-based program management. Work Environment This is a remote position with occasional travel for important meetings, ideally operating in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Standard Time (CST) zones.
