Our organization is seeking a dynamic andexperienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team. Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for leading ourmanufacturing engineering department and driving continuousimprovements in our manufacturing processes. This role will requirethe use of advanced engineering techniques, as well as the abilityto manage a team of engineers. The Manufacturing EngineeringManager will be a key player in ensuring that our manufacturingoperations are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the highestquality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operationsof the manufacturing engineering department, including planning,organizing, and controlling the manufacturing functions to ensurethe most effective return on assets.2. Develop and implementadvanced manufacturing processes to handle current production andto prepare for new product introductions.3. Collaborate with designengineering and production teams to develop and implementcost-effective manufacturing strategies.4. Drive continuousimprovement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, andenhance product quality.5. Lead the team in identifying, managing,and executing projects that reduce manufacturing costs, improveprocesses, and eliminate waste.6. Ensure that all manufacturingprocesses comply with industry and internal quality standards.7.Provide leadership and guidance to the engineering team, includingrecruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professionaldevelopment activities.8. Implement safety measures and practicesfor all work operations.9. Monitor and analyze key performanceindicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve them.10.Participate in the development and preparation of short-term andlong-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goalsand objectives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineeringor related field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.2. Aminimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineeringrole, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisorycapacity.3. Proficient in the use of CAD/CAM software and otherengineering tools.4. Strong understanding of lean manufacturingprinciples and Six Sigma methodologies.5. Excellent leadershipabilities, with a proven track record of managing and developingteams.6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on rootcause analysis and long-term resolution.7. Excellent projectmanagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously and meet deadlines.8. Strong communication skills,both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively conveycomplex technical information to a variety of audiences.9. A proventrack record of successfully implementing process improvements in amanufacturing environment.10. Ability to work in a fast-paced,high-pressure environment, while maintaining a keen attention todetail.
