Position Overview
The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves managing project resources, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical projects from planning to execution.
Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Oversee contract management and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with NEC codes and other relevant regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Manage client relations, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in project deliverables.
Utilize AutoCAD and PLC programming for project design and implementation.
Supervise site management activities to ensure safe and efficient project execution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management.
Proven experience in budgeting and scheduling for electrical projects.
Strong knowledge of contract management and compliance regulations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Experience in risk management and quality assurance processes.
Excellent communication and client relation skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and PLC programming is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of power systems and site management practices.
