Job Details Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the onsitequality engineering team, supporting both Level 2 and Level 3quality staff Own all site-level quality initiatives, includingaudits, inspections, and corrective actions Oversee and refine QMSdocumentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO9001, AS9100, etc.) Conduct root cause analysis and manage the CAPAprocess for systemic improvement Collaborate with production,engineering, and leadership to align quality goals with operationalperformance Participate in NRV (Nonconformance Review andValidation) meetings and support product disposition Interface withcustomers and suppliers on quality issues and documentation Promotea data-driven quality culture using metrics and continuousimprovement strategies Requirements Bachelor’s degree and a minimumof 8 years of experience with at least 2 years in a leadership roleProven success managing quality teams in a manufacturingenvironment Strong working knowledge of GD&T, nonconformanceanalysis, and corrective action systems Comfortable driving auditsand maintaining compliance with ISO standards Hands-on leadershipstyle with the ability to work closely with shop floor teamsExperience with performance metrics tied to quality outcomesFamiliarity with maritime manufacturing is a plus, though notrequired Internal auditing certification or experience is preferredInterested in hearing more?
