The Role We’re looking for a passionate engineering leader to join Fixed Income Engineering chapter supporting Finance and Fund Oversight products. You will bring a strong technology background with a passion for coaching and growing engineering talent. In this role you will be leading a team of dynamic engineers working across multiple squads. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Provide engineering expertise and thought leadership in defining and implementing technical strategy and roadmap partnering closely with Product Area Leads and Engineering partners. Passion for leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering talent. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization Experienced in defining and promoting development and testing best practices with standard quality gates in CI/CD pipelines. Experienced in designing and building large scale distributed systems. Promoting engineering excellence and continuous learning mindset. Experienced in identifying and acquiring talent needs, resource planning, and talent allocation across large organizations The Value You Deliver Define and implement best practices, standards and guidelines for software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure consistency and quality across the organization Driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, including setting high standards for quality, performance and reliability Ensuring organization talent composition aligns with strategic business priorities including workforce planning vital to provide increased value and results for clients and the business Supporting and empowering associates, to enable delivery of increased value in their teams, including coaching and mentoring team members to help them grow and develop their skills. Enabling an agile and streamlined organization by demonstrating agile behaviors Influence strategic backlog and prioritization decisions Measure performance through established objectives and critical metrics Align associates across teams and product areas to ensure the best utilization of talent while also building learning opportunities and content to develop skills Remove impediments to delivering value Actively share insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization The Team In our Fixed Income Technology organization, we are committed to empowering our investment professionals with the very best tools and technologies to deliver world class investment performance to our customers.
